Letter to You

Citizen,

There is a difference between having fun and having happiness. If you live a life trying to make a difference, making your existence count — you won't have to look for happiness. Happiness will find you.

If telling the truth were easy, no one would lie. I come to you with this now, so later, when you get it from the media, you know I came to you first. In my past, I was promiscuous, frequented strip bars and yes, had sex with prostitutes. I could not be the person I am today, if I had not been the person I was yesterday.

I find it quite hypocritical — the media will call someone a "porn star" for getting paid to have sex in front of a camera, and another a "prostitute" for trying to put food on the table for their children or to get through school. You want to know why? Follow the money.

I could have sold out to Hollywood (the movies: Liberty's Prisoner — LIBERTYSPRISONER.COM — and Death Be Not Proud). I didn't, because of you — but more importantly, your children and grandchildren. The last two Defense Secretaries stated unequivocally: John Adams said, "There are two ways to enslave a nation: one by sword and the other with debt."

The cure can sometimes be more painful than the disease. Are we going to continue to turn our backs to the galactic fiscal irresponsibility of the 535 self-serving elitist prima donnas that have turned the heart of our republic — the legislative branch of government — into a wretched hive of scum and villainy oozing with corruption?

I work in healthcare when not shooting movies. I have been a registered Democrat, Independent, and Republican. It is time we put country before party. I have yet to see "Democrat" or "Republican" at the bottom of a tombstone in any veterans cemetery I have ever visited. I will not seek a second term and will take half pay for the 24 months I serve you.
